YVTPC was formed in 1995 by a group of team penners, who wanted to promote the sport of team penning in the Yakima (WA) Valley. Since 1995, YVTPC (a not-for-profit Club) has grown, and has been promoting successful and quality Team Pennings for members from the Yakima Valley, Washington State, and the Pacific Northwest.

Cascade Team Penning Association was formed in 1990 by a group of team penners who wanted to promote the sport of team penning in the Northwest. Since 1990, CTPA has had over 1,000 members, with a current active membership in 2008-09 of approximately 200 from the States of Washington and California, as well as Oregon.

3   Link   Walla Walla Wagon Wheelers
The Walla Walla Wagon Wheelers is one of the oldest organizations in the Walla Walla Valley being established in 1936 during the Whitman Centennial Celebration. In the past 60 plus years this service club has a lot of accomplishments to make it's members and community proud.

The Northwest Quarter Horse Association, Inc. (NWQHA)
has been an active quarter horse association since the mid-1940s. The NWQHA is steeped in a long tradition of quarter horse ownership and the traditions of the real west~the Pacific Northwest.

Penning and Membership Information

Membership Information

Memberships run from October 1st to September 31st of each year ( "Season"). Beside helping the club out, membership entitles you to participate at events, clinics, and at the annual meeting and dinner. Everyone must be a member to participate at any Walla Walla Team Penners Events!

Membership Cost:

$20.00 Single

$25.00 Family

(Family membership includes member, spouse and children less than 18 years of age,or still in high school)

Cost of Pennings

Practice Format

Members: $20 per go - 3 runs total

Youth: $12 per go - 3 runs total (16 and under, must wear helmet!)

Price is per person per team.

Due to Insurance reasons, everyone must be a member to ride in any Walla Walla Team Penners Event!

Everyone must have a Release Form on file for the current season to participate at any WWTP Event!
